Tuition Scholarships
It is the philosophy of our school that no family wanting a Catholic education will be turned away from our school due to financial circumstances. Below describes available need-based scholarships and how you may contribute to support students at OLVCS in preschool through Grade 8.
Second Century Scholarship
Since 2001 the Second Century Scholarship Fund has accepted charitable contributions from individuals and businesses to financially assist students attending Catholic schools in Blair, Bedford, Cambria, Centre, Clinton and Somerset Counties. The Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown manages this program for all students attending Catholic preschools, elementary/middle schools, and high schools in the Diocese, including OLVCS. Through this program, many qualifying families receive support for OLVCS tuition. If you would like to learn more about this program and how you or your business could direct credits to support OLVCS at no additional cost through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit program, please, contact Chris Kirkpatrick, OLV Director of Development.
Our Lady Scholarship
The Our Lady Scholarship is available to families who express a financial need. Funds for this scholarship come from individual donations and limited, scholarship-specific fundraising activities. If you would like to make a financial contribution to the Our Lady Scholarship to help students in need, please, contact the school principal.
