Welcome to Art

The Catholic Church has a long-standing history of supporting and encouraging the visual arts. At Our Lady of Victory Catholic School, elementary students have art class once per week, while middle schoolers have two classes per week.

Throughout the year, OLVCS students will be exploring the elements and principals of art and design. OLVCS students create together, learn about artists and different cultures and participate in lively discussions.  They use their knowledge and experience to create meaningful artworks that support artistic discovery and exploration.

Students from Kindergarten through Middle School will create thoughtful, carefully planned and sometimes playful masterpieces. A selection of each student's artwork is put on display at the annual Fine Arts Night in May.
