    COVID Response

The COVID-19 pandemic has posed unprecedented challenges and opportunities.  The health and safety of all our preschool students, faculty and staff is our top priority.

The OLVCS preschool program will be following the guidelines set forth in the Our Lady of Victory Catholic School Health and Safety Plan, which has been approved by the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown Education Office.  The OLVCS Health and Safety Plan was created following the review of relevant state and federal agency guidelines, the PA Bishops' recommendations for PA Catholic Schools, as well as local experts in education and health and safety. It meets the requirements of the Health and Safety Plan of the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown.

We are happy to work with parents in encouraging their child's adherence to additional COVID mitigation behaviors being reinforced at home.

Parents are asked to complete a simple health screen at home each day, before their child arrives at the preschool.  The navigation bar provides a link to a screening form that many parents find as a helpful guide.

The OLVCS preschool program welcomes discussion of any questions or concerns parents may have about how our program will implement masking, social distancing, or any other feature of COVID mitigation. To discuss your questions, please contact the OLVCS Preschool Administrator, Mrs. Jennifer Rogan, at roganj@olvcs.org or the OLVCS Student Resource Officer, Mr. Terry Stec, at stect@olvcs.org.
