Parent/Guardian Volunteers

  • Volunteering with preschool students at Our Lady of Victory Catholic School is a great way to be involved in your child's preschool experience. Parents/guardians, grandparents, and other adult family members are welcome to volunteer!

Each year, adult volunteers assist with a variety of tasks and events, including:

    • In-classroom activities
    • School-wide activities
    • OLVCS preschool committee work
    • Library
    • Walk-A-Thon and other fundraising events
    • And many more!

To volunteer, interested individuals should contact the OLVCS Preschool Office and send it in to the school office. In follow-up, a member of the OLVCS preschool staff and/or another OLVCS volunteer will contact you.

All volunteers must compete the requirements of the Youth Protection Program and submit the required clearances before beginning activities at OLVCS.

Student Volunteers

  • OLVCS invites high school and college-level students with a strong interest in early childhood education to volunteer in our preschool program.

Student-volunteer activities will be assigned based on the administration and staff needs. These generally include helping with student supervision in the classroom, assisting with school-wide events, and providing administrative support.

We also welcome student-volunteers who have a special talent that they would like to share to benefit our students.

Many students use their volunteer hours to fulfill their school's or church's service hour requirement.

Volunteering at OLVCS may satisfy formal internship requirements of a student's school or educational program. Students seeking such credit should have approval from their academic advisor before beginning a volunteer internship with OLVCS.

High school and college-level students interested in volunteering with preschool students should send an email of interest to the OLVCS Preschool Administrator, that includes a brief statements of how he/she would like to contribute to the preschool program.

All volunteers must compete the requirements of the Youth Protection Program and submit the required clearances before beginning activities at OLVCS.
