SCASD Sports Cooperative
A new rule passed by the State College Area School District during the summer of 2025 allows students residing within the SCASD to participate in SCASD sports if the sport is not offered by their school.
OLVCS students in 7th and 8th grade who live within the bounds of the district may try out for the following SCASD PIAA sports teams:
- Fall: Football (co-ed)
- Winter: Wrestling (boys)
- Winter: Wrestling (girls)
- Spring: Field Hockey (girls)
- Spring: Softball (girls)
Please note, the agreement as written by SCASD states that if the sport 'cuts' players the first roster spots will go to SCASD enrolled students.
