Entree and Sides
Students may choose from the following main entree options every day:
- Features entree (listed on the lunch menu calendar)
- Grilled cheese sandwich
- Pasta with marinara and meatballs
- Baked potato with toppings
**Due to produce costs, we are unable to provide an entree salad option at this time. We hope to bring salad options back in the future.
Students may choose two of the following sides every day:
- Featured sides (2 options listed on the lunch menu calendar)
- Fresh fruit
- Canned fruit
- Fresh vegetables
- Fruit juice
- Garden salad
- Garlic breadstick
Dessert is regularly offered. You can find links to the current monthly lunch calendar on the home page in the "Quick Links" section, or in the footer of any page on our website.
Cost:
Lunches are $4.85/meal. Additional entree(s), sides, and a-la-carte items are available at an additional cost. The price for these additional items ranges from $0.15 to $2.70.
Payment:
Parents/guardians must pre-pay for their student to be eligible to purchase lunch. There are two payment options:
Check or Cash
Cash and checks should be submitted to the school office, enclosed in an envelope labeled with the student's name, student's homeroom and "Cafeteria." Checks should be made payable to "OLVCS" with your student's name and homeroom number written on the memo line.
Online Payment
Parents/guardians may pay for and monitor their student's lunch account through a secure online system, MySchoolBucks. This system may be used for one time payments and reoccuring payments (autopay). There is a small fee for using this system.
To set up and use the MySchoolBucks system, go to www.myschoolbucks.com and follow the prompts. Parents/guardians will need to know their student's MySchoolBucks code to complete the initial sign-up. This code may obtained from the school office. Also, when selecting the school district, choose "Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown."
Online payment will likely be posted as "DIOCESE OF ALTOONA INTERNET.
Insufficient Funds in Lunch Account:
If a student's account has insufficient funds for payment, he/she will be offered a choice of pasta or baked potato, as available. He/she will be denied extra items until payment is made. Further, charges will continue to accrue.
