The Lee A. Marshall Award was established in 2018 by her loved ones to honor the memory and life of Lee Marshall. Lee was a proud member of the Our Lady of Victory Catholic School Staff for 14 years. She was a kind and caring person who exemplified what it means to be a good Catholic. As a strong believer of the Golden Rule, “treat others as you want to be treated,” Lee always encouraged inclusive and fair play among the children of OLVCS.
The Lee Marshall Award is given to a 4th or 5th grade student who exhibits positive leadership and sportsmanship skills exhibited during recess, PE class, and throughout their school day. The student is seen as an excellent role model, displaying values of kindness and compassion while welcoming all to play. The recipient is chosen by the classroom aides who see the traits in action.
Awardees receive a $500 tuition scholarship for the next academic year.
