At Our Lady of Victory Catholic School students may take instrument lessons during school and gain experience performing on their instruments in band or a strings group. The cost of lessons is determined by the specific teacher and is listed on the
Instrumental Music Information Sheet. For information about the cost for lessons or the practice schedule, please, contact the specific teacher directly.

Band Grades 3 - 8
Teacher: Mrs. Muller

Mrs. Muller earned her BA in Music Education from the University of Illinois and has a PA Teaching Certificate in Music (K-12). Before coming to OLVCS, she taught band at the Thomasboro Grade School in Thomasboro, IL. She was the full-time music teacher at OLV from 1996-2000. Since 2001, Mrs. Muller has also taught private lessons for a variety of instruments. She has grown the OLVCS Band program from 30 students up to 55 students. She also offers private instruction in piano. Mrs. Muller enjoys going on hikes with her husband and three daughters and two dogs.

Teacher: Mrs. Huff

Mrs. Huff earned a BA in Music Education with an Elementary Music Certificate from Utah State University and has a PA Teaching Certificate in Music (K-12). She has completed advanced training through the Suzuki Association of the Americas, including Violin Suzuki Teacher Training through Book 4. Mrs. Huff has taught privately for 30 years, and has been teaching at OLV since 2006. She performs locally with the Altoona Symphony. Mrs. Huff focuses her life on her family and her faith. She enjoys being outdoors with her husband and four grown children. She enjoys sharing her love through music with the children of OLV.
