Grade K - 8 Uniform and Dress Code OverviewAll Our Lady of Victory Catholic School students in grades K - 8 are required to wear a school uniform. The school uniform helps students share a feeling of commonness and belonging. Moreover, the uniform brings the students to the same platform, inculcating a feeling of equality amongst those wearing the uniform. We find that many students feel a sense of pride when they wear their OLVCS school uniform.
At OLVCS uniform requirements differ for students enrolled in the elementary grades (K-5th grade) and the middle school grades (6th, 7th and 8th grade). The administration has chosen a modest uniform, which our students find comfortable and up-to-date, and parents find generally fashionable and easy to care for.
Dress down days are special days when students are not required to wear the school uniform. The dress code requirements for dress down days may be found in the Handbook and on this website.
The OLVCS Parent/Student Handbook lists specific grade specific dress code and uniform requirements. The administration reserves the right to be the final judge of what is acceptable in matters of student dress and grooming.
