Income-based Tuition AssistanceIt is the philosophy of our school that no child will be turned away from our school due to financial circumstances. Income-based tuition assistance is available for families who qualify. Below describes available assistance:
Second Century Scholarship
Since 2001 the Second Century Scholarship Fund has accepted charitable contributions from individuals and businesses to financially assist students attending Catholic schools in Blair, Bedford, Cambria, Centre, Clinton and Somerset Counties. The Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown manages this program for all students attending Catholic preschools, elementary/middle schools, and high schools in the Diocese, including OLVCS. Through this program many needy families receive support for OLVCS tuition.
- In order to receive tuition aid through the Second Century Fund, parents/guardians must complete the FACTS online application. For information more receiving financial support from this program, parents/guardians contact Rosemary Weber in the school office.
