2016 OLV Day Service Projects
    OLV Day Service Projects
    The OLV Day celebration provides all OLVCS students an opportunity to participate in Christian service.  The services projects are completed in the morning, following the OLV Day Mass.
    Below is a summary of the service projects that were done by this year's students:

    Grade Benefits Service
    Kindergarten Our Lady of Victory Parishioners The students made a cross bookmark. The bookmark was made with tissue paper and laminated. They were put in the Gathering Space at the church for parishioners to take home and use.
    1st Grade Hearthside Rehabilitation and Nursing Center The students made angel crafts for Hearthside residents.
    2nd Grade Our Lady of Victory Church The students cleaned the main worship area and Upper Room of Our Lady of Victory Church.
    3rd Grade Operation Shoebox The students made cards for US service men and women. The students also made a Christmas wreath ornament. Operation Shoebox will distribute these items.
    4th Grade Janet Weis Children's Hospital The students tie-dyed pillow cases and made cards for children receiving care at the hospital.
    5th Grade Our Lady of Victory Catholic School The students cleaned out the Victory Garden and surrounding area and planting bulbs.  They also cleaned up the flower beds surrounding the school.
    Middle School Hogar Miguel Magone Orphanage in Guatamala The students made sacrifice beads (strings of beads to count good deeds/acts of love) and Christmas cards for children at the orphanage.
    Middle School OLV Preschool and OLVCS Kindergarten The students will host a carnival for OLVCS Kindergartners and OLV Preschool students.
