OLV Day Walk-A-Thon
At Our Lady of Victory Catholic School, OLV Day includes the Exercise for Education Walk-A-Thon. The Walk-A-Thon is our school's main fundraiser. Funds raised this year will directly support OLVCS’s goal of purchasing and implementing new technology to support our students both in the classroom and in remote learning. We are in the process of implementing new technology to ensure a 1:1 ratio in our school. This is a necessity as we move forward this year.
Our 2020 Walk-A-Thon goal is to raise $40,000. Each OLVCS family is asked to raise $200. Donations may be made using our secure online system, check or cash. To make donation, follow the link on the navigation bar. All donations are tax-deductible.
Since 2006 faculty, students, and staff have participated in the Walk-A-Thon. The event was created in memory of Mrs. Susan Crowe, who was a fervent supporter of Catholic education and OLVCS’s first track coach. She died suddenly in a car accident.
During the Walk-A-Thon, students in grades K through 5 walk a course through neighboring streets around the school. At the same time, middle school students run/walk a 2 mile course, to and from the Knights of Columbus meeting facility.
We are grateful to all the individuals, families, and businesses that financially support OLVCS through their financial contribution to the Walk-A-Thon. We are blessed to have such support for Catholic education!
