This Club is offered in conjunction with the Tussey Mountain Intramural Ski and Snowboard Program.Who can participate?

The club lasts for 5 weeks, meeting on Fridays from 4PM to 7PM.

- Ends: Friday, February 7, 2025
New for 2025: Club lasts 5 weeks for ALL students and ALL snow sport club lift tickets/rentals are valid from 3PM to 9PM on club days. Club time is 4 PM to 7PM. Lesson time: 4:30 PM and 5:45PM.
Is there supervision?
Supervision by OLVCS chaperones ENDS at 7PM. Parents must make their own arrangements for supervision after 7PM. There is no club on days when school is not in session.How much does it cost?
Each student must pay an OLVCS participation fee of $35. Additional cost is determined by Tussey Mountain and is based on whether or not the student needs lessons, equipment, and/or lift ticket.Can my student get a meal card?
New for 2024: All students will be issued a meal card. It will have NO balance on it, when it is issued. Parents may add funds to the meal card through Tussey Mountain's Online Meal Card System.My child does not know how to ski/snowboard very well. Can he/she take lessons?
Yes! Lessons are available for an added cost. Parents will indicate what lesson level their child is on the online registration form. Below are the lesson levels:
Can younger or older siblings and parents get discounted ski tickets and ski with club members?
Yes! Packages may be purchased for family members at discounted club rates, but they must be purchased at the same time as club member packages (See Tussey Mountain Online Payment for more details). Parents may purchase only lift tickets or rental packages for themselves and/or family members.NOTE: Due to the lesson availability at Tussey Mountain, only club members in grades 3 - 8 are able to take lessons during club time. Also, OLVCS chaperones are only responsible for club members.
How do the club members get to Tussey Mountain Ski Resort?
Parents/guardians must make arrangements for their own student(s)' transportation to the resort.
When and where do club members get picked up?
Parents/guardians are responsible for picking up their child at 7PM at the resort at the pick-up spot designated by Tussey Mountain personnel. Prior to the first day of club, Mrs. Waltz will contact parents/guardians about the location of this pick-up spot. Club members must alert one of the club supervisors that they are leaving with their parent/guardian, before he/she leaves the resort.Supervision of OLVCS students is NOT provided after 7PM by OLVCS personnel. Parents/guardians who wish for their student to continue skiing or snowboarding after 7PM must make their own arrangements for their child's supervision.
Are there other club guidelines?
Yes, there are other OLVCS guidelines and a few NEW guidelines for the 2024 season, instituted this year by Tussey Mountain. Click here to navigate to the OLVCS Snow Sport Club Guidelines. Parents/guardians are expected to read and discuss these guidelines with their student.
